A minimum balance equivalent to the maximum fare of Delhi Metro Network (excluding RMGL) i.e. Rs.40/- is required to enter in paid area of a station and for travel. If the balance in the Virtual Smart Card is less than Rs.40/-, passenger cannot enter in DMRC system. ##### Sequence of use of Virtual Smart Card 2. After entering into the system, AFC system will block the amount equivalent to the minimum value required to enter in metro system i.e. Rs.40/-. After completion of travel, actual fare amount will be deducted by exit gate and balance blocked amount will be released (if any). 3. If proper exit not performed by passenger, then the amount of Rs 30/- will be deducted and balance blocked amount if any will be released. 6.
