Under the scheme, an amount of ₹ 6,000/- per year is transferred in three equal instalments of ₹ 2,000/-, viz. (April–July, August–November, and December–March) each financial year, directly into the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. PM-KISAN is a technology-driven IT solution for transferring direct benefits into the aadhaar seeded beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the aadhaar-enabled payment system.
